Were 19 days away from Christmas, which is a completely crazy thought. Also, our baby girl turns one month old tomorrow! The balance of it all has been interesting, but honestly, not as crazy stressful as I thought. Nate has been so incredibly sweet and affectionate with her, something thats been so special to witness. I know many of you are interested in a more lengthy post on the 1-2 transition, something I plan to dive into.
Im really excited for this weekend! Tomorrow, I have a few of my girlfriends coming over for dinner and for some much-needed girl time. On Sunday, were also having our other friends come over with their kids. Lots of fun hosting this weekend, something Im really looking forward to. I dont plan to stress myself out, so Ill probably whip up 1-2 things and then pick up a few ready-made things from the store. As long as were all together and theres good background music (an absolute must in my book), something to nibble on and a little wine flowing, well be good.
