My LoveLula Monthly Picks February 2020

Disclosure

So this month, I have selected some old favourites that Ive tried before and some products that are new to me. Here is what I have chosen.

Weleda Men 24h Roll-On Deodorant

Weleda Men 24h Roll-On Deodorant

I like to switch up the deodorants that I use because, whilst Im not especially sensitive to bicarbonate of soda, I find if I use it every single day, my armpits do complain. I love this deodorant. MrLovely uses it too, as does my teenage son (not the *actual* same one that I use, might I add). Its super gentle on my skin and I like the way it smells. Its not overtly masculine so women can easily get away with using it too. It smells really fresh and its long-lasting. You can buy yourself one here.

Hurraw Black Cherry Tinted Lip Balm

Hurraw Black Cherry Tinted Lip Balm

Hurraw! is my favourite brand of lip balm. I have a few of these, I have the night time one and the sunscreen one. I used to make my own lip balms in the past so Im quite the fussy customer when it comes to the perfect consistency and these ones are bang on. They offer the perfect ratio of moisturisation to slipperiness. This tinted one is perfect if you want a touch of colour to your face without wearing a full-on lipstick. Its a very pale tint as you can see from the swatch below. Im really pleased with this and love this lip balm.

Biovne Barcelona Moisture Volume Biotin & Apple Cider- Shampoo In-A-Bar

Biovne Barcelona Moisture Volume - Biotin & Apple Cider- Shampoo In-A-Bar

This shampoo bar smells absolutely gorgeous! It was the very first thing I noticed when my LoveLula delivery arrived. I love the packaging but the wording is super tiny and tricky to read. Its quite a small bar so it would be perfect for travelling.

Biovne Barcelona Moisture Volume - Biotin & Apple Cider- Shampoo In-A-Bar

Ive been obsessing a little over shampoo bars lately since reviewing this one. I had high hopes for this little bar but having used it once, my hair didnt feel as good as it did after the My. Haircare one. I felt like it left a little residue in my hair as if Id washed it with a normal bar of soap. Sadly, this one isnt for my hair but Ill be passing on to a friend with shorter hair who I think will love it.

Inika Living Colour Lipstick Spring Bloom

Inika Living Colour Lipstick - Spring Bloom

I like the fact that this lipstick has a magnet holding it closed so it wont come open in your makeup bag. I like to swatch on the outside of the case too. Its a metal case so recyclable. The shade of this lipstick, Spring Bloom, is a beautiful neutral shade. Its my perfect neutral because its pretty close to the natural colour of my lips.

It has a really lovely smooth and velvety texture to it and it is lovely and long-lasting. It also boasts being cruelty-free, vegan and organic. If you want to see a photo of me wearing it, its on my Instagram (swipe across to see).

Zoya Naked Manicure Mauve Perfector

Zoya Naked Manicure Mauve Perfector

Zoya is one of my favourite brands of nail polish. Their polishes are always really hard-wearing and long-lasting. When I selected this, I was expecting it to be a mauve nail polish. It isnt. It gives your nails a really beautiful natural sheen and makes them look really healthy. Ive been wearing the same coat for the last week and its lasted really well. Im really pleased with this purchase.

SOiL Remedy Rollers Relax

SOiL - Remedy Rollers - Relax

SOiL is a brand thats completely new to me. I chose this remedy roller because I sometimes suffer quite badly from anxiety when out and I wanted to be able to take this with me and pop some on when needed. I did and I did and it was fab. Smelling it made me feel quite comforted and I found it worked well. I was really impressed. Ive had a look and SOiL have a large range of essential oils and ready blended oils so Ill definitely be making further purchases from their range.

Thanks for reading. Ill be writing my LoveLula Beauty Box Unboxing post next so stay tuned!
