5 Times Celine Dion Turned a New York Sidewalk Into Her Very Own Runway This Week

New York City is known for major style moments and photo ops, with the latest batch coming courtesy of Celine Dion. This past week, the iconic Canadian pop singer visited the concrete jungle—as part of the east coast leg of her Courage World Tour—bringing with her a parade of runway-worthy looks.

In between her three performances at Barclays Center in Brooklyn (she performed her 2019 chart-topping album Courage on February 28, 29 and March 5), Dion transformed the NYC streets into her very own catwalk with solid results. Here are our favourite looks from the week gone by:

Leave it to Celine (and Brandon Maxwell) to turn a humble duster coat into a statement piece. The singer sported the piece from the Meghan Markle-favoured designer at the start of her stylish week and set the bar very high for all following outfits.

Stepping back in time to channel the 1960s, Dion expertly pulled off this blue and white 3-D floral motif coat with matching tights from 8 Moncler Richard Quinn.

Once again, the pop singer committed to a look from head-to-toe. This weekend, Celine stepped out in Peter Do’s latest boundary-pushing silhouettes: a hot pink pantsuit and pleated skirt from the Fall 2020 collection. The look was completed with a matching handbag and Kate Young sunglasses.

Canada’s queen heralded the spring weather with this botanical ensemble from Oscar de la Renta. A pink and green balloon skirt paired with an embroidered knit made for quite the statement.
