Did you know that Tax Day is officially set for April 18th in 2023? While that gives you an extra three days, it’s likely that you are still finding all the paperwork and numbers to be… well, very taxing.

Every year, many restaurants and retailers offer Tax Day discounts and freebies, in an effort to help you ease the stress. This is a list of those deals.

Most of the deals are only valid on Tax Day, April 18th, 2023. However, the dates vary, so be sure to review the details before making your rounds.

All of the offers are only valid at participating locations, while supplies last.

HINT: Since Tax Day is on a Tuesday this year, you might hit up your favorite Tex-Mex dining establishment to see what kind of Taco Tuesday deals they’re running — out favorite is Tin Lizzy’s for $2.99 tacos and drink specials all day long!

 

Tax Day deals & freebies in Atlanta

AMC Theatres

Relax at the movies on Tax Day! AMC Theatres offers Discount Tuesdays every week. Movie fans enjoy discounted tickets (price varies by location) and a $5 concessions special (small drink and small popcorn) every Tuesday. The offers are only available to AMC Stubs members. 

In addition, AMC Theatres offers a $5 Fan Faves series. Fans can enjoy classics or recent hits back on the big screen for just $5. 

 

Applebee’s

This April, enjoy one of Applebee’s $6 Springtime Sips — Either the Tipsy Shark or the Strawberry Daq-A-Rita. The drinks are available for a limited time. 

Combine the drink special with the restaurant’s popular 2 For $24 meal deal for bigger savings. Get one appetizer and two entrées from a select menu for $24.

And if you’re getting a refund, spend it on one of the restaurant’s gift cards for a great deal — buy a $50 gift card and get a $10 bonus card. The bonus is available April 10 to June 25, 2023.  (The bonus card expires Aug. 6.) 

 

The Cheesecake Factory

Say cheese! You may or may not be smiling on Tax Day. Either way, you can sweeten the day at The Cheesecake Factory. Save $10.40 on an order of $50 or more — use promo code TAXDAY1040 at checkout. The offer is only valid for online orders placed directly on the restaurant’s website or DoorDash for pick-up or delivery. The offer is available from April 17th to 21st, 2023.

 

Chili’s

Enjoy the chain’s Margarita of the Month this April — it’s called The Patron Rita. Also check out the happy hour specials on Tuesdays.

Combine the drink special with Chili’s popular 3 For Me deal. Enjoy an appetizer, entree, and beverage, all starting at just $10.99. The meal deal is available every day.

 

Dairy Queen

From April 10th to 23rd, 2023, DQ is offering a small Blizzard treat for just 85 cents. The offer is available through the DQ mobile app, and you can use it once during the promotion period — including on Tax Day!

 

Firehouse Subs

We’re still waiting for the details on Firehouse Subs’ 2023 tax day deal.
Last year, the sandwich shop offered customers a FREE medium sub with purchase. 

 

Great American Cookies

Everyone will like the way this cookie crumbles on Tax Day. On April 18th, 2023, Great American Cookies is giving customers a buy-one-get-one-FREE chocolate chip cookie cake slice. The offer is valid in shop only.

 

Hooters

On April 18, 2023, Hooters is offering three 1040EZ Meal Deals. For $10.40, enjoy your choice of:
