Ravensburger JAWS Game Only $8.44 on Target.com (Regularly $17)

“The tension in this game is intense. I can’t believe how hard my heart was pounding as those pesky fisherman (and some lowsy jerk on the land) tried to stop me from eating! I’m a shark, this is the water… What did they expect was going to happen? I played Jaws with 3 friends, I was Bruce. Everybody’s favorite swimming companion. So nice they put him on the front of the box, pearly whites and all. In Act 1 as the shark, it’s your job to eat swimmers. How many you eat sets up how well you set yourself up for Act 2. While I was swimming around getting my fill, 3 of my friends took on the roles of Quint, Hooper and Brody trying to stop me. They threw some barrels in the water to track my movement but I was able to skirt the outsides and avoid movement sensors unless one beach had enough swimmers to make it worth it. I ate the maximum amount of swimmers a shark can stomach (that is 9) which meant I was pretty set for the second act. Doing so well in the first act meant the poor saps on the Orca were unable to get enough weapons to effectively defend themselves. Their melee weapons could help, but their REAL saving Grace was a flare. They attached a flare to me the first round (must have been waterproof) and it kept hitting me until I was able to go all Taylor Swift and shake it off. By then, I was half dead. Even with a huge advantage there was still a lot of tension. I eventually destroyed the boat and had another tasty meal in the process. I can’t recommend this game enough. I do think it is probably best playing with friends that are old enough to have seen the movie.”
