Before we get to the school year, we have to get through the rest of the summer first and I like the resources this kit includes. I find planning of any kind cathartic, but this is especially true of homeschool planning (which I share Sunday nights on Instagram during the school year!). My kids are 3.5 years apart, so when my son started formal schooling, I had to find ways to entertain my daughter as well.
