We LOVE playing board games in my house and my 3-year-old jumped for joy when we got this one! You feed the hippo small round cardboard “food” pieces and whatever number is on the food is the amount of cranks you turn the handle. If the hippo burps on your turn you lose. The kids think it’s hilarious when if it burps! You put a small amount of water in its ear to make it look like steam coming out of its mouth. So much fun!
This game is a riot!! We have a 9-year-old son and he laughed so hard playing this game. It obviously wasn’t much of a challenge for him, but the hilariousness of the situation more than made up for that. I treasure times like that with my kids and having the giggles together is totally worth the silly humor.
